Photography for me is the joy of having memories of my time out experiencing the elements that make up landscapes and places, that leave impressions on us.

My imagination is sparked by forms, colour and textures. The details in landscapes, its rocks and how the land has been shaped by natural and human forces. It has both an emotional and elemental connection for me.

My curiosity started young, loving exploring my local woods, and reading about places around the world, collecting photographs from National Geographic, and putting them in scrapbooks.

I am also drawn to the human imprints we leave on landscapes, and photography continues to be my way of discovering more about our wild and domestic spaces. How we make our mark on places and are shaped by them.
